The Sinking (Song)

"The Sinking" is a song written and composed by James Horner and featured in the film Titanic, and was also on the soundtrack. It is about the beginning of the final moments of the Titanic. In the film, only parts of the cue were used, replaced by the cue "Trapped on 'D' Deck" in a couple of spots notably the camera panning along the sinking ship as passengers head for the stern and when water smashes the dome of the Grand Staircase and rapidly floods one of the first class corridors.
