The Slovak family were two minor characters in in James Cameron's film, Titanic. They were a third class family travelling aboard RMS Titanic.
During the sinking, the young boy was in a third-class hall dangerously invaded by a downpour; he was so paralyzed by fear that he could not move. He rested against a wall and called his father while sobbing. Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater went to save him, but the father arrived and took his son from Jack while yelling at him and Rose. He then collected his suitcase only for the corridor door to buckle under the water pressure and burst open. The father and son were both swept away by the rushing water, while Jack and Rose are able to escape.
