Olaf was a Swedish poker player that lived in Southampton, England. He was friends with Sven, who planned on boarding the RMS Titanic with him. When Olaf and Sven lost to Jack Dawson and Fabrizio De Rossi in a game of poker, they lost their tickets aboard the ship. He had a bad temper, because he knocked Sven out after they lost their game of poker because Sven bet their tickets
This unfortunate event perhaps saved Olaf's and Sven's lives, as both Jack and Fabrizio died when the ship sunk.
